Property Sales Remain Low

Property sales in the UK remained at a low level in May, and were lower than in May 2010.

Just 68,000 homes were sold in May, down 2,000 on April and down 3,000 on May 2010.

Lenders don't see the current low level of sales changing in the coming months.
